San Juan Capistrano, CA – Brine Lacrosse is proud to announce the Brine California Lax Classic, a 3-day tournament for boys and girls, in support of the HEADstrong Foundation. The tournament will be run from July 9 to July 11, 2010 at Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park, located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The following states will be represented in the tournament: California, Washington, Utah, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Nevada, and Idaho.
To show support for the HEADstrong Foundation, each player in the Brine California Lax Classic will receive one pair of lime green HEADstrong shoelaces to be worn in the tournament. The HEADstrong Foundation (www.headstrong.org), founded by the Colleluori Family in honor of Nick Colleluori, is a lacrosse based not for profit organization raising awareness for blood cancer. The Colleluori Family will attend the Brine California Lax Classic to sell the HEADstrong sportswear products.
Tournament Format:
The tournament will consist of two age brackets, U13/U15 A and B for boys and U13/U15 for girls and will be played over three days. Day 1 and 2 will be round robin qualifying games. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit due by May 15th, 2010 for all teams.
