Silverfin Launches College Lacrosse Recruiting Camp in Cali

Silverfin Lacrosse presents a breakthrough college lacrosse recruiting event in Northern Los Angeles from Friday, 25 June 2010 to Sunday, 27 June 2010. Conducted on the beautiful campus of California Lutheran University, Silverfin Lacrosse has brought together a group of the nation’s top lacrosse programs for it’s first annual recruiting event. The camp will be a primarily game based format with instructional events scattered throughout the three day event. The camp will feature the following schools and coaches:

  • The United States Air Force Academy – Eric Seremet, Head Coach
  • The University of Vermont – Ryan Curtis, Head Coach
  • Dartmouth College- Ryan Danehy, Assistant Coach
  • Ohio State University – Mark Bergey, Director of Lacrosse Operations
  • Colgate University - Nick Coppola, Assistant Coach
  • Rutgers University – Jason Basso, Assistant Coach
  • Fairfield University – Kevin Conry, Assistant Coach

IMPORTANT CAMP INFORMATION

Silverfin Lacrosse will conduct this event on the beautifully manicured campus of California Lutheran University which is located in the rolling hills of Thousand Oaks, California. With an average temperature in June of 71 degrees and almost no humidity, Thousand Oaks is the perfect setting for an athletic event of this kind. For those parents and family wishing to remain for the three day event, Silverfin has arranged a block of rooms with a preferred rate at the Hyatt Hotel in Westlake Village, California. The hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes from the campus of “Cal Lu”. Of note, Cal Lu is located only 10 minutes from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and 30 minutes from beautiful Malibu California.

LOCATION: California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California

DATES: June 25-27 (three days, Fri – Sun)

WHEN: 9AM to 7:30PM (three sessions)

AGES: rising 9th graders to rising seniors in high school

COST: $315 day camper, $495 overnight camper ($360, $540 after May 1st)

HOTEL INFORMATION: The Hyatt Westlake Plaza is located 10 minutes from the playing fields and has a group rate of $109 per night pre-arranged for all families wishing to stay locally for the event.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE: Super Shuttle is the preferred airport shuttle to Thousand Oaks, California from either Burbank Airport or Los Angeles International airport.
