Boston, Mass. (from press release) – Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, today announced the contract signings of several more players, according to Commissioner David Gross. Player contracts are currently being submitted for the upcoming 2010 MLL season which begins on May 15th.
Notable players included in today’s new contracts were Kevin Buchanan of the Boston Cannons, Long Island Lizards defenseman Brian Spallina, Merrick Thomson, Doc Schneider and Jordan Hall of the Toronto Nationals and Joe Cinosky, Kyle Dixon and Danny Glading of the Washington Bayhawks.
Overall, the Denver Outlaws currently lead the way with the most players to date who have re-signed their MLL contracts for this summer, followed by the Washington Bayhawks and Boston Cannons. The deadline for all players to return their signed contract is Monday, March 1st, 2010 as MLL teams prepare for training camps scheduled to begin on April 24th.
