College Lacrosse Video Game for Xbox Close to Release
21 Sep
After many years of rumors and failed attempts, a real lacrosse video game is finally coming.
College Lacrosse 2010 is a game under development by Crosse Studios, the brainchild of Carlo Sunseri, Jonathan “Fritz” Ackerley, and Joseph Daniels.
Sunseri is leading the project with limited funding, but he has a lacrosse background to help out with game play decisions while in development. Sunseri is also the assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Robert Morris University, and is an alumni of the school.

Carlo Sunseri
“Sunseri played three seasons with the Colonials after transferring from Providence College. A three-time captain, Sunseri was a key player at the midfield position scoring 46 goals and adding 18 assists for 64 points. He concluded his career on an 18-game point streak that ranked in the top-30 in men’s Division I lacrosse.” -http://www.rmucolonials.com
The game is being made for the Xbox 360 platform, and will be available via download through Xbox Live Communities for $10. The game is said to utilize many of the attributes from a soccer game previously created by one of the developers on the team. It is expected to be released next month (Fall ’09). We will post more information as it becomes available.
