US Lacrosse has announced the fall exhibition schedule for the 40-man roster of the U.S. Men’s National Training Team. The team will play games this September and October at the United States Military Academy at West Point (N.Y.), the United States Naval Academy (Md.), and Stony Brook University (N.Y.).
Additionally, the U.S. Men’s Training Team will run 10 boys’ lacrosse clinics in September and October. The clinics are an opportunity for youth and high school boys to advance their game with the expertise of the best men’s lacrosse players in the country.
Following these events, the U.S. Men’s National Team roster will be slimmed down from 40 men to 23, which will be the final roster and the team that will compete in the 2010 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships July 10-24 in Manchester, England.
Head Coach Mike Pressler will lead the U.S. team as they seek to recapture the gold after losing to Canada in the 2006 championship game. Since first recognized international championship in 1967, the U.S. Team has won eight of 10 gold medals, winning their last one in 2002.

Saturday, September 26 – West Point, N.Y.
6:00 p.m. at the United States Military Academy
Sunday, October 18 – Annapolis, Md.
Time TBA at the United States Naval Academy
U.S. vs. Maryland, Navy and Virginia
Saturday, October 31 – Stony Brook, N.Y.
1:00 p.m. at Stony Brook University
Exhibition game tickets are available at the gate at $8 for adults and $5 for ages 18 and under. Show your US Lacrosse membership card and get $1 off the ticket price.
