Monster’s Kids donates money to local children’s hospitals; the first of hopefully many recipients is Schneider’s Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY. In addition, Tim has volunteered his time at Schneider’s Children Hospital to visit with some of the children. As part of the program, the Lizards have also hosted children at games this season as honorary guests of Goettelmann.

Tim has generously donated paychecks from his final two Long Island games to the charity. The Lizards also put up $100 for every goal scored during those past two games and offered to match Goettelmann’s donation.
