Brian Langtry of the Denver Outlaws

With the 2009 MLL regular season nearing its conclusion, it’s time to take look at the standings to see what the playoffs will bring come August 22nd.

The Denver Outlaws already have a playoff appearance locked up, while the Boston Cannons, Long Island Lizards, and Toronto Nationals all look like the favorites to round out the four playoff spots.

The Chicago Machine is on the verge of elimination, while the Washington Bayhawks also still in it mathematically - but they’re a long-shot.  There’s a few different scenarios that could shake up the the current standings, but most of them are improbable.
